Refund and Returns Policy

Overview

Our refund and returns policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have passed since your purchase, we can’t offer you a full refund or exchange.

We want all of our customers to be 100% satisfied when purchasing our products directly from us online or in person at events we attend. Our policy is simple. If you are unhappy with a purchase of Maine Sauce and Provisions product purchased directly from us, we will refund your purchase price in full (not including shipping).

Since all of our products are perishable consumables, we do not require return of any product for a refund. We do require documentation of the dissatisfaction, which will be collected through an online survey sent by email. In some cases we may request the return of what remains of the product for internal review and testing in order to improve our manufacturing and safety protocols. Any shipping costs for the return will be covered by Maine Sauce and Provisions LLC.

We do not provide refunds or exhanges of products purchased from third party sellers (Items purchased at one of our retail partners must be returned to them and are subject to their return policies)

We also reserve the right to refuse refunds requested if we determine that the request is an abuse of common decency including, but not limited to past habitual abuse of our Return Policy. Any refund is at the sole discretion of Maine Sauce and Provisions LLC.

Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

Late or missing refunds

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check with your bank account again if your original purchase was through ACH or debit card.

If your payment was made by credit card or a credit platform (e.g. Paypal, Venmo, etc) contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us by replying to the relevant email sent authorizing the refund, of through our contact form at https://staging.mainegravy.com/contactmainesauce/.

Exchanges

We are more than happy to replace any item with another identical item

Gifts

If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and they will find out about your return.

Again, do not return items for refund or exchange unless we request you to via email. That email from us will serve as proof of return authorization.

If we do ask you to return an item, we will cover the shipping costs by providing pre-paid shipment label(s). Shipping costs are non-refundable if you ship the item without receiving prior authorization via email from us.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.
